hi, i'm theo 👋
I hand-build custom AI automations for Kansas City's small & local businesses, quietly taking the busywork off your plate, and built to keep running long after.

01 /
Assistants that read, sort, draft and decide, trained on how your business actually works.
e.g. an inbox agent that triages 200 emails before you wake up · fig. 2.2 is one
02 /
Your CRM, sheets, invoices and apps, finally talking to each other without copy-paste.
e.g. invoice lands → CRM updated → Slack pinged · fig. 2.3 is one
03 /
That fragile Zapier/spreadsheet contraption someone built in 2023? I rebuild it properly.
e.g. 14 brittle zaps replaced with one boring, reliable pipeline
fig. 4 · how it works
A free 20-minute call. We map where your team's hours actually go and find the 2–3 automations worth doing.

Fixed scope, fixed price, working software in weeks. You see progress every Friday in plain English, not Jira tickets.

I monitor, maintain and improve what we shipped. Everything is documented so you're never dependent on me.

I don't have time. Can I pay you?
He fixed the leaky basement at my house. I offered fifteen free marketing ideas. That was his answer. Results in fig. 2.1.
Most agencies ship fast and disappear. I ship things that still work in a year, and answer the phone when you call.
client quote · awaiting sign-off
He has said kind things about the work. They will be printed here the day he approves the wording, and not before.
fig. 6 · objections, answered
The ones from real calls, including the awkward ones. The one-liners are free; open for the full answer.
One plan: $1,500 a month for the build queue and the marketing advisory together, month to month, cancel with one email. That's the founding rate; it becomes $3,600 once the two open spots fill, but early clients keep $1,500 for as long as they stay. The 20-minute audit stays free either way, and one-off fixed-price builds are still possible if a retainer isn't right yet.
Owner-run businesses, roughly 1 to 50 people: trades and home services (my flagship client is a Kansas City drainage company), local service businesses, and e-commerce or parts retailers. If you personally answer the phone, write the quotes, or copy-paste between systems every week, you're exactly who this is for.
Kansas City is home, and local clients get me on-site. But almost everything I build ships remotely, and I've run remote teams for a decade, so a business anywhere in the US can work with me. The free audit is a video call either way.
The usual wins: customer intake and email triage, quote drafting, self-serve scheduling (customers book, cancel and reschedule themselves), review collection, invoice chasing, product-listing pipelines, and reports that write themselves. Rule of thumb: if it happens every week and follows a pattern, it can probably run without you. The audit finds the two or three worth doing first.
A 20-minute call where you tell me the task you hate most and we map where your team's hours actually go. You get a hand-drawn workflow map of the 2–3 automations worth building, with honest effort estimates. It's free, there's no obligation, and the map is yours whether or not we ever work together.
Most builds land in two to six weeks. You see progress every Friday in plain English, not Jira tickets, and something real ships in your first 30 days on the retainer, or that month is free.
Usually neither alone. Off-the-shelf tools cover 80% of most workflows, and I'll always recommend one over custom code when it fits. The value is in the glue: the custom 20% that makes your CRM, inbox, calendar and website behave like one system instead of five tabs.
About thirty minutes a week. You explain how the work actually flows (you're the expert on that), I translate it into systems. No jargon, no homework, and every delivery comes with plain-English documentation your next hire can read.
With an agency you meet the senior person once and get handed to whoever's free. Here the person on the call is the person who builds, documents and answers the phone at 7pm, with receipts: two YouTube channels past a million subscribers, a business built and sold, and client revenue doubled. The trade-off is honest: I take a small number of clients at a time.
Everything ships with monitoring that alerts me before it alerts you, a rollback path, and plain-English documentation. On a care plan, I fix it, usually before you notice. Off a care plan, you have everything any competent developer needs to fix it. No black boxes, ever.
No. The whole point is glue. I build around the CRM, inbox and spreadsheets you already have. If a tool genuinely needs replacing I'll say so and show the math, but "rip everything out and start over" is agency theater, not engineering.
Your data stays in accounts you own. Agents see the minimum they need for the task, nothing is used to train anyone's models, and steps that touch sensitive data can run without AI entirely. Every build includes a one-page data map showing exactly what flows where.
Morbid, but fair: you're hiring one person. Everything is documented as it's built, you own all the code and accounts, and handover notes are part of every delivery. Any competent developer could pick it up tomorrow. That's what "built properly" means.

Describe the problem in your own words. I read every one myself and reply with a hand-drawn mini-map: the tools, the steps, the hours you'd get back.
